And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This program means so much to so many girls throughout Madison.
And today, our girls need your help.
The pandemic has brought with it innumerable challenges for everyone across the globe, and Girls Inc. has not been immune. A program that relies on our schools to serve our girls has been all but sidelined with MMSD doing virtual learning. That sounds bleak, but there is hope. Our facilitators across the city have shown an incredible level of determination as they work to reach Girls Inc. girls in whole new ways – both in-person and virtually.
We’ve set a lofty goal: provide 500 girls with Care Kits filled with all sorts of self-care goodies as a way to show them we’re here, we care and we can’t wait to welcome them back. AND we need to raise $50,000 to ensure the future of Girls Inc. of Greater Madison in 2021 and beyond.
