“DCSO Beltline Bob wants to remind everyone that with the FLEX LANE project starting on the beltline, lanes will be narrowing and shifting. More safety barrels will be set up, and everyone needs to drive cautiously because more construction workers will be around. Be aware of speeds in the construction zone as well.
Per DOT, this project will improve the Beltline inside median shoulders for use as an additional travel lane during peak traffic periods from east of the Whitney Way exit to the I-39/90 interchange. In addition, the project will:
Address deteriorating pavement;Improve existing drainage deficiencies; andReplace the existing median barrier wall along the Beltline.”
