On May 3, the Monona City Council adopted Resolution 21-3-2470 to create an ad hoc work group on diversity and equity issues in Monona. The committee’s charge is to determine a plan to ensure that Monona makes a long term commitment to racial and social justice and equity both at city hall and in the community at large.
Committee membership is intended to be a diverse group in terms of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other historically marginalized or underserved groups in our community.
The application deadline is May 26.
