On June 1, 2021 the Parks & Recreation Board made the approval to lift all restrictions pertaining to the 2021 pool season. So what does that mean for you?
Adult lap swim/Open Swim/Family Swim June 5 – June 20:
- If you purchased a daily admission session from June 5 – June 20 your admission is now good for the ENTIRE day you originally signed up for. Meaning if you signed up for June 5(or any date) for the 2:15 – 3:30 pm time slot, you can come enter the facility at 12:30 pm and stay until 7:00 pm. You are no longer restricted to the original time frame you signed up for, just the DATE.
- If you purchased a season membership to the facility and signed up for a specific session to swim, you are no longer restricted to the original time frame you signed up for, just the DATE.
- If you would like to attend the pool June 5 – June 20 and have not signed up for a session, there is no longer a need to pre-reserve your space, you can just show up to the pool and use cash, credit, check or your season pass to enter the facility.
Aqua Zumba June 11 – June 19:
- Aqua Zumba time frames will be staying the same June 11 – 19. Meaning if you signed up for a date/time for class, you must attend that date/time frame you signed up for.
- These dates are currently full. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, you may do so by signing up on-line or calling the Parks & Recreation Office at 222.4167
- If you are on the waitlist and a space opens up, you will be contacted via phone to take the space that is open.
Adult lap swim/Open Swim/Family Swim/Aqua Zumba June 21 – End of season:
- There is no longer a need to pre-reserve your space, you can just show up to the pool and use cash, credit, check or your season pass to enter the facility.
- Aqua Zumba will be 11:45am – 12:30 pm Monday – Friday and 9:45 – 10:30 am on Saturdays. No social distancing or reservations required.
The Monona Community Pool is a 300,000-gallon outdoor pool with a water slide, two diving boards, eight 25-meter lap lanes, a shallow end, a wading pool and a concession stand.
